HOW TO PLAY

Italian Checkers

White moves first. Checkers move one diagonal square forward on dark squares.

Captures are mandatory. A regular checker captures forward and cannot capture a king.

When multiple captures are available, Italian-checkers priorities apply, including taking the greatest number of pieces.

On reaching the last rank, a checker becomes a king and can move and capture in both directions.
